Shaw Family Foundation was founded in 1970 by JR Shaw’s father, Francis E.Shaw.

JR was one of the Foundation’s directors since its inception and was its President from 1978 to 2020 - steering its steady growth that has enabled the Foundation to be able to support deserving causes.
